Just because the weather outside is
frightful, it doesn’t mean your skin has to be! Cold weather, limited
sunlight and long days spent indoors can wreak havoc on your holiday
glow. Check out these DIY holiday skin treatments using commonly used
ingredients during the season. Try these on your own or package them for
a unique holiday gift!
Honey and Brown Sugar Body Scrub
With all of the baking necessary this time of year, the ingredients for this scrub may already be in your cupboard. Brown sugar exfoliates the skin while honey moisturizes. This scrub is perfect to get rid of dead, dry skin and bring a holiday glow to hands, feet and everything in between. Slather this scrub on wet skin every few days. Rub into skin in a circular motion and rinse.
Ingredients:
3 T. brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1 t. honey
Mix brown sugar and water together until they form a paste. Whisk in honey. Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to seven days.
Apple Juice Toner
Visits to the apple orchard are popular this time of year. On your next trip, pick up a couple of extra apples to use for this juicy facial toner. The acid in apple juice cuts grease and helps clean pores. Use this toner day and night for a luxurious, natural clean. After washing your face, pour a small amount on a cotton pad. Swipe over face avoiding the eye area.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup apple juice
4 T. witch hazel
Mix thoroughly. Pour into a clean bottle. Store at room temperature for up to ten days.
Coffee and Cocoa Face Mask
Curl up in front of the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa and treat your skin to this coffee and cocoa mask. The caffeine in these ingredients decreases puffiness around the eyes and brings a noticeable glow to the skin. When the mask is ready to use, apply to dry, clean skin. Let the mask set for 15 minutes. Press a wet washcloth to your face to loosen the mask, then rinse with warm water.
Ingredients:
4 T. finely ground coffee
4 T. unsweetened cocoa powder
8 T. almond milk, coconut milk or plain yogurt
Mix coffee and cocoa powder. Add milk or yogurt to form a smooth paste. Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to seven days.

Overall thought on this product
Yummy, it was soft, chewy and tasted like if they were homemade.
I received this product complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster
Did you know that Ivory has many uses, for example:
* Body Cleanser
* Facial Cleanser
* Clothes Stain Remover (food stains, ring around collar, etc)
* Laundry Flakes
* Soap Carving Project
* Other
I really like Ivory because it's a great multitasker.
I recently used it to give my son a bath after he got my makeup and applied it to himself, wow I was really worried some makeup wouldn't come off, but it did, it was like magic, the makeup came right off.
Have you used Ivory soap before and what have you used it for?

Wet n Wilds Fauna Collection ($4.99 @ Walgreen's) contains a complete spring look. I decided to buy this over the Flora Collection because the colors seemed more attractive and would be more suitable for my skin tone.
The eyeshadow trio has pretty colors, they seem a little bit on the sheer side compared to their Comfort Zone Palette which is very pigmented and goes on smoothly without much product. This palette is a bit matte but blendable and not as pigmented as I hope but when it's spring (Hot), less is actually better.

This is my 1st review ever and I just cannot wait to share this fabulous palette with you. I bought this eyeshadow/blush palette online at BH Cosmetics a while back and hadn't tried it until this weekend. My first impression was, ok, it's smaller than what I expected but let's see how pigmented the colors are, that's when I was totally blown away just as I was applying the eyeshadow. You really don't need much product on your brush to get a great look.
Lipglosses/chapsticks: 2 anos
Sombras en Polvo: 2 anos
Sombras en Crema: 12 a 18 meses
Delineador/Eyeliner: 3 meses
Rimel/Mascara: 3 meses
Rubor en Polvo/Powder Blush: 2 anos
Rubor en Crema/Cream Blush: 6 meses
Base de Maquillaje Sin Aceite/Oil Free Foundation: 12 meses
Base de Maquillaje en Crema/Cream Foundation: 18 meses
Corrector/Concealer: 12 a 18 meses
Lociones/Lotions: 2 anos
Lo mejor es ponerle la fecha a tus productos de cuando primero usaste el maquillaje y asi sabras cuando puedes deshacerte de el.
